One of Europe’s most respected and dynamic law firms’ is seeking a mid-level real estate finance lawyer to join their London team.The real estate finance team acts on behalf of lenders and borrowers as well as investment trusts, partnerships and funds on a broad range of quality domestic and cross-border property related work in respect of secured and unsecured finance.
Your remit will include development and investment finance for commercial and residential property portfolios, mezzanine and equity funding, mortgage book acquisitions and drafting and negotiating all types of facilities from simple bi-lateral to highly structured syndicated loans.
You will have a proven track record in real estate finance, gained at a top-tier firm. You will be working on high level, complex matters that require strong technical skills in this practice area. You will also have direct client involvement and be encouraged to be involved in business development, both internally and externally. Therefore, you are likely to have between 3- 5 years PQE in real estate finance work.
As well as being intelligent, you will possess strong commercial awareness, have good communication skills with an ability to give clear and concise advice on complex issues and have the ability to build client relationships. You will also be confident in working independently both within and across teams.
