It could be that your business model is coming to the end of the road but you believe that some or all of what you have could form a key part of another growing business.

You could see economies that could be made in a larger business by sharing support functions across a larger business. Larger businesses can offer more specialisms and have critical mass in more business areas.

Alternatively firms would speak to their accountant or bank manager. The problem is they only know who they know and cannot make a proper assessment of the market or the range of opportunities in it.

Identify Potential Targets

Execute

 

 

We begin by making confidential approaches to the potential targets to find out their attitude in general terms and whether they want to know more.If the conversation is to progress we would usually ask them to sign a confidentiality agreement.

If they want to proceed to meet you we can facilitate the discussion process. Along with your other advisers we can help you to evaluate the propositions presented by different targets and advise on the best route forward.
